The official video game of the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), WRC 3 marks a radical departure from previous titles and sees the team utilizing an entirely new, in-house developed graphics and games engine in order to bring players the most advanced driving experience in the WRC. WRC 3 features every rally on the 2012 WRC calendar, with all the leading WRC teams and drivers in the revamped career mode.

WRC 3 features a new graphics engine called Spikengine, which enables Milestone to accurately model lighting, particle effects, and other real-world features to create virtual reality in-game, offering complete immersion in the WRC universe. The cars themselves showcase new modeling techniques – they have never looked so realistic, or handled so realistic, as in WRC 3. Milestone has simplified every aspect of the game to allow new players instant gameplay satisfaction, while allows experienced rally players to explore the full range of game features and drive a WRC car from the comfort of their own home. On top of all this, the game has enhanced crowd effects, reconstructed stages, and new cinematic introductions to each stage. WRC 3 features more than 50 official WRC teams, along with the Class 2 and Class 3 series. WRC 3 also offers incredible Super Special scenarios.
